Tim Allison, head of the audio department at Protec, wanted the Newton processor to be used for large scale events in the UAE and KSA as part of Protec’s main FOH processing racks.
Luca Gianni, product specialist for Newton in the Middle East, organised a demo and a training course exclusively for Protec technicians. He said:
“The Protec team is highly qualified and will definitely make the very most of the Newton, thus increasing the company’s festivals and large-scale events,” Gianni said. “For a product specialist, explaining the technology and features to a team of professionals is always extremely satisfying and this was definitely a truly great start for a long-lasting collaboration with one of the largest production companies in the Middle East.”
“We are delighted to be part of this significant milestone for Protec,” commented PRO LAB Managing Director Rami Haber. “Bringing new technological investments into our region despite the logistical challenges, and seeing our clients benefit from it is all that matters to us.”
The Newton processor has already been put to use by Protec during the One Year to go Expo 2020 campaign at Burj Park, which included artists such as Mariah Carey.
