Panasonic PT-LB426

PT-LB426 — 3LCD Lamp Projector, XGA, 4,100 lm

The bright end of the LB426 Series, and the one genuinely lamp-based model in this set — worth stating up front, because it sits at a price point the laser range doesn't reach. Panasonic's long-life lamp changes the usual objection: rated at approximately 20,000 hours in Eco mode, it's designed to run through to the next refresh cycle rather than needing mid-life replacement. At 2.9 kg it's barely heavier than a laptop, so it works either as a room-to-room portable or a permanent ceiling install. 4,100 lm with 20,000:1 contrast — around 25% more contrast than the previous LB425 Series — keeps it readable without dimming the lights, and dual HDMI means two presenters can stay connected and swap by remote instead of passing a cable around.
