The Audix M3W is a tri-element hanging ceiling microphone for installations where aesthetics, sound quality and ease of installation are critical, such as video conferencing, distance learning, courtrooms and surgical procedures; it can also be used for ambient room miking and surveillance. Three phase-coherent hypercardioid capsules with a tailored frequency response are optimized for speech intelligibility, and low-noise preamp circuitry gives a high signal-to-noise ratio. The electronics above the ceiling sit in a plenum-rated junction box, with connections made through an RJ45 connector.
