The Palmer PAN01 is the industry-standard "workhorse" Passive Direct Injection (DI) box. Known for its indestructible build and sonic transparency, the PAN01 is a mandatory tool for every stage and studio toolbox. It allows you to connect high-impedance unbalanced signals (like electric guitars, basses, or keyboards) directly to professional balanced microphone inputs on a mixing console or audio interface.
By using a high-quality internal transformer, the PAN01 prevents signal degradation over long cable runs and eliminates the hum and buzz caused by ground loops.

Input Pad (-30dB): A switchable attenuator allows the PAN01 to handle "hot" signals, such as the output from a guitar amplifier, without clipping the mixer input.
Link Output: Includes a 1/4" (6.35mm) "THRU" jack, allowing you to send the unaffected signal to an on-stage amplifier while simultaneously sending the balanced signal to the PA system.
